Copywriting for B2B SaaS & fintech · Albertson, NY

great product. confusing homepage. we fix the sentence in between.

We’re a small writing studio at 68 Evans Avenue. We write the website messaging, launch emails and case studies for software that has to explain money, risk or hours saved. One fixed fee per project, no hourly meter running while you read the draft.

Projects run $620–$1,490, invoiced half at kickoff and half when the files land. Mon–Fri 9am–5:30pm, evenings by appointment.

01 / fixed-fee packages

eight kinds of work, one price on each

Every project has a single fee, decided before we start. Two rounds of edits are inside it; a third pass is $140. Pick the closest fit and write to us. If nothing matches, the last tile is for you.

The whole site

full website messaging

Five pages written as one argument: home, product, pricing, about and a use-case page. We interview two of your customers first, so the words on the page are the words they use.

  • Messaging hierarchy and a one-page voice guide
  • Five pages, headline to footer, with meta descriptions
  • A margin note beside every claim your compliance reviewer will want to check
  • Two customer interviews, recorded and transcribed
  • Two edit rounds; third pass $140

launch email sequence

Six emails that carry a release from the first teaser to the “did you see this?” follow-up. Each one has a subject line that names the exact day the pain happens.

  • Send-day schedule with the logic behind it
  • Plain-text and designed versions of email one
  • Segments for trial users versus paying accounts

homepage messaging

The page every buyer lands on, written top to bottom: hero, proof strip, three product moments, objection handling and the closing ask. Delivered as a section-by-section doc your designer can drop straight in.

  • Hero headline with five alternates ranked by our pick
  • Section copy with word counts matched to your layout
  • Button and microcopy pass

Four emails across the first fourteen days, each pointing at one action that predicts a customer will stay: connect the bank feed, invite the approver, run the first report.

Something else

not on the list?

Sales one-pagers, a webinar invite series, an investor-update template. Tell us what’s stuck and we’ll quote one fixed number, anywhere from $600 to $1,500, in one working day.

From$600 ask for a number

All projects are invoiced: half at kickoff, half on delivery. Prices are per project, not per hour, and cover everything listed in the tile.

02 / sample redlines

three rewrites, marked up the way we mark them

Here is what a change looks like on the page. The companies below are invented; the technique is the one we use on real projects.

Hero line · bill-pay platform for distributors

swap the category for the tuesday

BeforePowerful, end-to-end AP automation for modern finance teams.
AfterApprove the invoice from your phone. Pay the vendor before Friday.

Margin note: nobody wakes up wanting “automation.” A controller wants the stack of invoices off her desk by Tuesday afternoon.

Subject line · reporting release

name the day the pain happens

BeforeIntroducing our new reporting suite!
AfterThe report your CFO asks for on the 28th is now one click.

Margin note: a subject line that holds a date reads like it was written for one person. Open rates follow the specificity, not the exclamation mark.

Case study opener · month-end close

open on the calendar, not the logo

BeforeThe customer achieved great results after adopting our platform.
AfterThe finance team used to close on the 9th. Now the month ends with the books already done.

Margin note: one sentence of before-and-after beats a paragraph of praise. The reader finds their own dates in it.

Real client files come out on the kickoff call, under NDA where needed. If you’d rather see a rewrite of your own page first, the $620 teardown is built for that.

03 / how we work

we read your sales calls before we write a word

we read first, then write

Your last six sales calls, the support inbox, the reviews your competitor’s customers left. The best line on your homepage is usually something a customer has already said out loud.

Seven working days from kickoff call to final files on a single-deliverable job

every claim gets a footnote

In fintech each promise has a rule behind it. We flag the claims in the margin so your compliance reviewer can answer in one pass rather than three.

Before the kickoff call

what to bring to the first hour

None of it needs to be tidy. A folder full of messy source material makes a sharper draft than a polished brief does.

  • Two or three recorded sales calls, or the notes from them.
  • The URL of the page you hate most, and the competitor you hate being compared to.
  • A login to the product, or a screen recording of the first ten minutes.
  • The list of phrases legal has already struck out: “guaranteed,” “instant,” “risk-free.”
  • Names of two customers who’d take a 20-minute interview call.
04 / questions we get on the first call

the things people ask before they say yes

Can you write for a compliance-heavy product?

That’s most of our work. We write fintech copy with the claims marked in the margin, so your reviewer sees what each sentence promises and what backs it up. We aren’t lawyers and we don’t pretend to be; we make their pass quicker.

How many rounds of edits are in the price?

Two. We send a draft, you mark it up, we revise, you mark it up again, we finalize. A third pass costs $140 flat. In practice most projects close inside round two because the interview does the heavy lifting.

Why a fixed fee instead of hourly?

Because hourly makes you hesitate before every email. A fixed fee means you can send us the awkward Slack thread, the angry competitor screenshot and the half-formed idea at 11pm without anyone checking a clock.

What do you need from us to start?

An hour on a call and the folder from the “what to bring” list above. If you can’t gather it all, send what you have; we’ll tell you on the call what’s missing and whether it matters.

What if the draft misses the mark?

Tell us where, in plain words, and the revision round is for exactly that. If the brief itself turns out to be wrong, we say so early and re-scope it with you before the second half of the invoice is due.

05 / start a project

tell us what’s stuck on the page

Call, write, or come by. We answer every message within one working day, and the first conversation is free.
